We’re Obsessed With How Kelsey Merritt Added a Holiday Twist to Her Go-To Maxi Skirt and Tube Top Combo

Instagram fashionista Kelsey Merritt is known for her simple, yet elegant and chic style. The SI Swimsuit model always keeps her looks fresh while still following her signature sophisticated and Pinterest-worthy aesthetic, and her latest outfit features the best seasonal twist.
The three-time SI Swimsuit star recently reached for her go-to tube top and long skirt combo, but opted for a bright red low-rise velvet maxi number, channeling her love for the holidays and proving she’s keeping up with the trending color of the year.
The 27-year-old, who was born and raised in Pampanga, Philippines, paired the bottoms with a knit black tube top and shiny black pointed-toe pumps. She accessorized with a thin black-and-gold belt hung low on her hips, sheer black tights, a medium sized leather clutch purse, dangly gold earrings and a wrist watch. Merritt opted for glowy bronzed glam, including warm-toned eyeshadow, feathered brows, terracotta blush and a glossy peach-nude lip. Her long brown locks were super smooth and freshly blown out.

The former Victoria’s Secret model revealed she pulls fashion inspiration from vintage Ralph Lauren catalogues and lookbooks, as well as Princess Diana’s ability to “mix and match things that don’t really normally make sense” in a classy way.
“Before it was even a thing, I didn't even know what ‘quiet luxury’ was, but I always gravitated toward classic, timeless, elegant and sophisticated pieces that I would always have in my wardrobe. I’m not big on huge logos on clothing or anything. I like more minimalist stuff,” she said. “Fall is my favorite season of the year, and what really gets me into the spirit of fall is doing fall nails, like dark brown manicures, suede brown boots and suede leather jackets. I really lean toward those aesthetics.”
