You can now get buried in a bespoke glitter coffin
Death is devastating, there is no denying that, but now there is a new way to go out with a bang.
While millennials are currently fawning over glitter-covered anything, one company has decided to take the glitter obsession to another level. They're covering coffins in the sparkly stuff.
The Glitter Coffin Company make bespoke upholstered glitter coffins and caskets which are available from most funeral directors across the UK.
The glitter used on the coffins is the same used to make Jimmy Choo shoes – so there’s no denying the quality of the glitter.
These fancy coffins are the creation of Chris and Dawn Nicholls who also own The Glitter Furniture Company and wanted to venture into something “a little bit different”.
Since the beginning of this year, 15 glitter coffins have been supplied to deceased across the UK. FE Harris makes the coffin, then The Glitter Coffin Company cover it in glitter and will ship it to anywhere in the world.
With each coffin made to order, you can choose from a number of sparkly colours including pink, blue, purple, gold, silver, black, white and lilac.
We think this is just the beginning of bespoke, colourful coffins ...
