Normal People stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Paul Mescal have shared a sweet reunion picture.

The pair first rose to stardom after their captivating performances as Marianne Sheridan and Connell Waldron in the Irish drama, a coming-of-age tale about two teenagers as they navigate their relationship. The BBC series premiered during lockdown and became a major hit, eventually securing a BAFTA win for Mescal.

Edgar-Jones shared some sweet snaps with her co-stars Mescal, India Mullen (Peggy) and Fionn O'Shea (Jamie) to Instagram, with the caption 'Chaos'. The group were all smiles and laughter as they posed for pictures taken in a photobooth. Adorable.

Edgar-Jones has had a busy couple of years adding some acting credits to her CV, and it seems as though 2022 is hers to claim.

The actress recently starred in the Hulu thriller Fresh alongside Pam and Tommy's Sebastian Stan, in which she played a young woman who takes a chance on the alluring Steve (Stan), only for her to make the horrifying discovery that he has an unusual appetite for human flesh.

She will also share the screen with Andrew Garfield this week (April 28) in Hulu's new murder mystery Under the Banner of Heaven. The Spider-Man actor will play Detective Jeb Pyre, whose faith is shaken once he is called to solve a double murder that might be connected to the local Mormon church.

The Normal People star will feature as Brenda Lafferty, a woman brutally murdered together with her 15-month-old child.

Finally, Edgar Jones is set to star as Kya in the highly-anticipated adaptation of the Delia Owens novel Where the Crawdads Sing this July. A blend of coming-of-age, romance and thriller, the compelling story follows Kya, or 'the marsh girl', across her life.

As for Mescal, he was recently seen in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter with Olivia Colman, and will soon star alongside The Crown's Josh O'Connor in the upcoming gay romance movie The History of Sound.

Normal People is available to stream on BBC iPlayer in the UK, Hulu in the US, or to download and keep.
