There are lots of lotions and potions that claim to perform 'miracles', but working in the beauty industry has only made of us all the more sceptical when it comes to such declarations. So, when we discover a product that really does work, we're all the more impressed.

One such product is the No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum . Boots' own-brand beauty and skincare line has created some real cult products in the past (all backed up by science), but over the last 12 months the store has seen skincare sales soar by 174% on Boots.com. And the serum was one of the biggest sellers during lockdown.

The website explains that the serum, designed to reduce the appearance of lines — no matter how pronounced — is their most 'supercharged' skincare product to date. 'Formulated with 7x the Matrixyl 3000+ than our previous clinically proven serums. It's been clinically proven to visibly reduce the appearance of even the deepest, most stubborn lines and wrinkles.'

Simply apply the serum directly to lines and wrinkles and the powerful peptide blend supports the skin, giving it renewed elasticity and bounce.

And it's been a total hit with skincare fans since it arrived. Some dubbed it a 'miracle-worker', while others claimed it to be the most pivotal product in their beauty bags.

'I've been using this for just two weeks and I can see an amazing difference in a deep frown line on my forehead. The product feels lovely to apply and most importantly it really works!' wrote one shopper.

While another added: 'Within a week, the Booster Serum was making a noticeable improvement— I mean my friends and even my guy noticed. And the packaging is not only clever, it’s actually considerate! The “syringe” style bottle has a button on the bottom you can turn to lock it shut, or push to dispense product—as in a perfect little dollop of serum, it is an itty bit, but it’s potent stuff.'

The good news is the serum is usually priced at £38 but is currently half price, selling for just £19. Well worth stocking up!
