Nissan driver 'seriously injured' in motorway crash
The driver of a Nissan SUV remains in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the M4, police confirmed.
The motorway was closed eastbound for more than eight hours overnight after the crash between Hungerford and the Chieveley services on Saturday night (September 23).

Thames Valley Police said it was called after 7pm to reports of the crash. The driver of a Nissan Pathfinder SUV car was taken to hospital with serious injuries. It is understood they remain in hospital.
The eastbound carriageway remained closed for around eight hours. One lane remained shut until around 6.45am, almost 12 hours after the crash, for emergency repairs to the nearside motorway barrier.
Works are now complete and lane 1 (of 3) is now open on the #M4 eastbound between J14 #Hungerford and J13 #Chieveley following a collision yesterday evening.
