Nina Dobrev's legs are sculpted in a swimsuit as she surfs, rides horses, and swims

Whether her followers believe her or not, actress Nina Dobrev has got some awesome surfing skills.

In a new Instagram post, the Vampire Diaries star, 33, showed off her serious total-body strength showing herself carrying her board into the water and riding some waves.

Before her followers got a chance to tease her, she roasted herself in the caption. She rattled off a hilarious self-deprecating list of all the things 'wrong' with her surfing style:

'1. oh damn she surfs?
2. she mighta went for the wrong wave
3. she doesn’t look super confident
4. she has no idea what she’s doing
5. someone please explain the hands,' she wrote.

And her fans and followers are loving her silly take. 'Hahahah we love it😂❤️,' one commented, and another wrote, 'Wizard-hands 🧙🏻♀️.'

Nina, Shaun, and their friends jetted off to Costa Rica to celebrate the snowboarding GOAT's recent retirement—and his performance at last month's Winter Olympics in Beijing.

Together, the crew has gone horseback riding:

They've also tackled an intense ziplining course:

Played in the mud in the spa:

And of course, taken cute couple-y selfies:

To get in tip-top surfing shape, Nina credits the home gym that she started working on during the pandemic.

'I'm really proud of my home gym, I use it a lot,' she told Shape. 'It's really nice to have that flexibility of working out, whether it's really early in the morning before I got to set, or really late a night when I get home from set, or after a long flight.'

Her gym includes lots of cardio equipment: a NordicTrack Treadmill and a SoulCycle at-home bike. 'When I'm done shooting and I have to memorise the next day's work, I can sit on the bike with my script and exercise, and learn my lines for the next day,' she told Shape.

And back in 2019, Nina rushed an intense workout with actor Zac Efron for his 'Gym Time w/ Zac Efron' series in 2019, which included Nina pushing Zach on a sled, planks and more.

Nina also loves to do yoga, and shared a video of herself doing an at-home yoga session (which included mini band work) in April 2020.
