Nicole Richie reveals actual gold is the key to her glowing skin
For many of us, our beauty routine is something we take quite seriously.
So when we heard that fashion queen Nicole Richie was giving away the secret for her flawless complexion, of course, we were going to take notes.
As part of her ever-so-sassy Style NowWith series promoting products from her new lifestyle collection, the 37-year-old revealed that the trick to keeping her skin plumped and glowing is her gilded, 24-carat Manuka honey face mask.
As it says on the tin, the mask is infused with 24-carat gold to help firm and illuminate skin. Plus, it’s loaded with the moisturising power of hyaluronic acid and soothing manuka honey. You put it on, you peel it off, and your skin is dewy and radiant.
We can’t imagine anything more luxe than smothering your skin in gold flakes, but Nicole’s daily routine might just be it.
“I take a shower every night, right before I go to bed… I have an entire skin care routine that consists of a face wash, a toner, a mask, lotion and face oil,” she says.
“I step out of the shower, put on cute pyjamas and then put on a robe over it. That’s my routine,” says Richie.
It’s this routine that inspired many of her creations for Honey Minx. “The pyjamas, sleep mask, robe and the satin pillowcase — I think they’re for everybody,” Richie says.
“I can’t think of somebody who doesn’t want to unwind and feel good and look gorg [sic] at the end of the night. I don’t know who that person is.”
