I love it when old beauty trends come back around. Half of the beauty looks and hairstyles my mum followed in her 20s and 30s (hello, perms and dramatic winged liner) have done the rounds multiple times.

Even now, the trends I followed in my teen and university years that later made me cringe are back and dominating the runways and red carpets. Though, I don’t know if I can bring myself to try metallic lipstick and baby blue eyeshadow again.

One of the biggest hairstyles to make a huge comeback is 70s-inspired curtain bangs. The retro haircut is one of the chicest looks around and is the perfect option for those wanting some effortless glam. Just look at Nicole Richie for inspo.

The fashion designer posted a series of pictures from the latest campaign for her clothing line House of Harlow 1960 on Instagram.

In the pictures, she’s sporting thick curtain bangs that have been styled perfectly to frame her face.

In another picture, her look is finished with dramatic black eyeliner that’s giving us serious Brigitte Bardot vibes.

As her The Simple Life co-star Paris would say: that’s hot.
