While Nicole Kidman may currently be trending for her meme-worthy reaction to Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars, the actor has also been garnering attention for her flawless red carpet appearance.

The 54-year-old Oscars nominee turned heads in a strapless powder blue gown by Giorgio Armani Privé, her youthful complexion being highlighted by a bold red lip and simple up-do.

Luckily, celebrity make-up artist, Kyra Panchenko, detailed on Instagram exactly how she achieved Kidman's red carpet beauty look – and it's more accessible than you think.

While many celebrities, such as Kourtney Kardashian and Rebel Wilson, had appointments with renowned celebrity facialists in the run-up to the star-studded event, Panchenko revealed she got Kidman's radiant and sculpted skin ready at home, using only a few of FaceGym's innovative tools.

FaceGym took the beauty industry by storm when it was founded in 2016.

Unlike traditional facials, FaceGym is focussed on signature muscle manipulation techniques with EMS technology to give your face a high-intensity workout.

Through stimulating circulation and improving lymphatic drainage, the face workouts deliver a non-invasive take on a facelift, helping to contour and lift the face.

While the workouts used to only be available at FaceGym's studios, the brand recently started selling its tools online, so anyone can give themselves a celebrity-approved high-intensity face workout.

Panchenko used many of the brand's more affordable products throughout Kidman's skin preparation routine, such as the £25 Weighted Ball to "help to release any tension in the face and neck and to increase blood flow."

As well as the £45 Multi-Sculpt Contouring Tool to depuff and contour Kidman's features, it was FaceGym's FaceGym Pro tool that the make-up artist praised the most.

It uses electrical muscle stimulation technology (EMS) to activate and elevate the lower facial muscles, giving your complexion an instant lift.

Panchenko described the device as "like a 10-minute at-home face lift, the definition on the cheekbones and jawline are so impressive".

Lastly, she used a £350 Medi Lift Eye Mask (also available from Net-A-Porter) designed specially for the eye area, which Panchenko called "genius!"

She added that "the gentle use of EMS around the eyes really smooths, lifts and brightens to give a more rested look."

Kidman isn't the first celebrity to be seen using FaceGym's tools over award season.

In fact, it has become a staple in many celebrity make-up artists kits, with FaceGym's products having already been recently used on Naomi Watts, Kirsten Dunst and Dame Helen Mirren.

Mirren's make-up artist, Jo Strettell, used the same FaceGym tool on the 76-year-old actor for the SAG Awards back in February.

Strettell enthused, "It elevates the facial muscles and gives the skin a more lifted and toned appearance, it literally takes 10 minutes to see results – it’s my go-to tool for any red carpet event!"

With the momentum of FaceGym rapidly growing, we're sure this won't be the last we hear of its talked about products.
