Nicki Minaj's courtside outfit was about as far from sports-appropriate as you can get
For most, kicking back to watch a sports game might require a comfy ensemble, suitable for reclining with your popcorn or jumping up when your team wins. But not for Nicki Minaj.
Oh no: it’s apparent the rap star doesn’t allow herself any downtime from dressing in her finest, as proved at the Staples Center in LA on Tuesday when she showed up to watch a Lakers game.
Perhaps more appropriate for S&M than sports, Minaj turned up in a head-to-toe leather look, featuring a skirt and top combo with netting, studs, a whole lot of cleavage, fishnet tights and heels so spiky that they could (quite literally) kill someone made by Balenciaga.
Her look came complete with a studded Chanel bag, a silver and black coat and black sunglasses.
A closer look just for luck:
Naturally, her fans fully supported the look on social media.

The showing came on the same day Minaj revealed to her fans that she was dropping two new singles this Thursday – ‘Barbie Tingz’ and ‘Chun Li’.
In the posts, she revealed the cover art for each single and looks ranged from a Fendi thong to a Victorian dress.

Whether the outfit was anything to do with the songs has to wait to been seen.
It appears serving looks is a full-time occupation, huh Nicki?
