'I Work In The NHS By Day And I'm A Cam Girl By Night'

My first cam session was a disaster. I don’t actually know how I managed to carry on. I'd spent the week before reading blogs and watching tutorials, memorising how the girls were posing, how their rooms were set up, what outfits they were wearing. I did so much homework that I knew exactly what to do. I hung a fairy light curtain behind me, put pure white sheets on the bed and carefully attached my webcam to the floor to ceiling mirrored wardrobes for the best possible angle. I slipped into a black and turquoise underwear set with a sheer robe and tied my hair up into a high ponytail. I sat there staring at my new set up absolutely petrified, but I was ready.

A client flashed up on my laptop screen and suddenly it was happening. We chatted for a bit - so often, they just want to chat to you which was a surprise to me. It was different with the next man. He wanted me to lie on my front and hold my ankles. Eventually a client in the group cam chat said he’d like to have a private 1:1 session. You can speak to a group of clients on cam or they can pay more to have a private session with you alone. I was worried because I hadn’t had time to get a wax, but he said he didn’t care, so I went for it. It didn’t feel sleazy or dirty, it was just liberating. That’s how I knew I was hooked.

I started doing cam work at the beginning of lockdown. A photographer messaged me on Instagram asking me to do a shoot with him after seeing my own images and we became close. Eventually he confided in me that he was a male cam model. He told me about the crazy amounts of money he was making and sent me video clips of the kind of things he was doing. People were always asking me if I had an OnlyFans account where they could pay to see more explicit pictures of me anyway, so I figured ‘Why not cam work?’.

I soon took on a double existence. By day I was working 37 hours a week for the NHS as a PA at a local GP practice, and by night I was secretly camming five days a week as well. I’d go to work, do my full shift, come home, nap immediately and then go online. If I had any annual leave from my day job I’d cam on those days as well. If my NHS co-workers found out I was a cam girl I knew that their goal would be to try and get rid of me - there’s no way they would stand for it. So, I’ve kept it a secret.

Keeping it to myself everyday was difficult. My brother didn’t know. My best friend still doesn’t know. The number of times I’ve seen her and I’ve wanted to tell her… but her partner works in the health service and I just couldn’t risk it. There are female partners at the practice who would make it their mission to have me fired if they knew. The only people I told were the people I live with, who happen to be my parents.

Luckily, we have an extremely close relationship. When I told them about the camming my mum was really nervous. Nervous about my day job finding out, worried about what men were going to ask me to do and whether they would be able to find out where I lived. Weirdly, my dad was fine about it. I was so surprised that he was ok with his little girl doing that kind of thing in the spare room upstairs.

I’d cam until the early hours of the morning then go downstairs for breakfast and fill my parents in on the details. I’d tell them all about the guy who asked me to be his mummy and give him my milk or the one who’s leaving his wife and just wants someone to be nice to him. They found it fascinating. They’re so supportive they even offered to upgrade the broadband to improve my cam connection.

It was worth it. I’d spent a fortune on cam equipment but I never predicted for one minute how much money I was going to make. If I’m on the phone and on cam to the same client I can charge around £6 a minute. My best night I made 1000 credits in just over three hours which means I took home £500. I finished at 5.30 in the morning and didn’t have time to go to sleep before going straight to work at the GP’s office at 7. I was so exhausted from the night’s work that I took a half day off. It was risky but there was no way I was going to pass up that kind of money. In June I made £5000 just from camming.

I’m so proud of what I do and I hate that I can’t be open and honest about it, but it doesn’t stop me enjoying it. I’ll buy all these sex toys then I’ll email my regulars saying, ‘Hey I’ve just had a delivery, come online I want to show you what new toys I’ve got’. When I’m being sexual with a client it’s 100% real. I’m such a sexual person that if I’ve had a session where I haven’t even got my boobs out, trying to sleep afterwards is a disaster. My adrenaline will be racing because I know how much money I’ve earned and I’m really turned on from whatever the client has asked me to. Usually the only way I can unwind is to masturbate. Whereas, if I’ve had a satisfying session, I’ll just take my make-up off, tie my hair up and get into bed.

It was daunting at first putting my face out there because even though it’s anonymous it just takes one person in my area who knows me to see my profile and know it’s me, but thankfully that hasn’t happened yet. Although, you never know exactly who you’re talking to unless you go cam to cam because it’s so easy to have a fake name online. I have one so why wouldn’t someone else? If work find out and make it unbearable to stay there, then maybe I’ll cam full time. Until then my secret has to stay a secret.
