Kirill Kaprizov is a rockstar on the ice, and the Minnesota Wild crowd is acting like it.

During Game 2 of the Wild’s first-round series against the St. Louis Blues on Wednesday, the young phenom capped off his night with an empty-netter for the hat trick.

Among the pile of hats, the Xcel Energy Center staff discovered, in a hilarious turn of events, that one fan ended up throwing their bra onto the ice rather than some boring old traditional headwear.

It was the first playoff hat trick in franchise history for Minnesota, so at least the fan knew to make it memorable.

There is one strong possibility as to why the fan decided to throw their bra on the ice, other than just displaying an increased level of affection for the Wild’s top forward. During the eventual 6-2 win that evened the series to a 1-1 draw, Minnesota center Joel Eriksson Ek scored what would have been his third goal of the game, but before the officials could finish their offside review – it was eventually called off – a waterfall of hats poured onto the ice.

Wild fans were certainly eager to toss any kind of headwear for the franchise milestone, so it is a possibility that the bra-thrower found themselves hatless due to Eriksson Ek’s called-back goal and just needed to toss something on the ice for Kaprizov. Truly a hero's move, if true.

The Central Division series continues on Friday night in St. Louis.
