The 2023 summer transfer window has officially closed leaving Newcastle United time to reflect on the signings they’ve made.
Eddie Howe’s side have spent around £130million on five new arrivals but have also sanctioned exits - permanent or temporary - for over 10 players.

The Italian joined from AC Milan for £52million plus add-ons.

Barnes arrived from relegated Leicester City for £38million.
Livramento joined Newcastle from Southampton in a deal worth £30million plus £5m in potential add-ons.
Minteh (second from left) joined from Danish side OB for £7million before joing Dutch champions Feyenoord on a season-long loan.
Hall has joined Newcastle on a season-long loan from Chelsea which includes an obligation buy next summer of an initial £28million.
Wood spent the second half of last season on loan at Nottingham Forest and the deal was made permanent at £15m in July.
Fraser has joined Southampton on a season-long loan after falling out with Eddie Howe earlier this year.
Lewis moved to Watford on loan for the 23-24 season, which includes an option to buy next summer.
Ashby, who joined from West Ham United in January, was loaned to Swansea City.
Kuol struggled to make an impact at Hearts last season but will hopefully enjoy a much more productive loan spell at Dutch club Volendam.
Watts will spend the final year of his Newcastle contract at League One promotion chasers Wigan Athletic.
The popular Frenchman was sold to Saudi Pro League side Al Ahli in order to raise transfer funds amid Financial Fair Play restrictions.
Following nine years at Newcastle, Darlow sealed a permanent move to Leeds United.
