You know how Netflix is remaking Matilda with an all-star cast? Well they're also creating a version of Alice In Wonderland, only this time at a music festival and with what sounds liken an ~edgier~ twist. Oooh.

First announced at the end of 2020, the details are currently quite sparse, but here's what we do know about Netflix's Alice In Wonderland remake. Pass the little bottle to swig from.

What will happen in Netflix's Alice In Wonderland?

Hollywood Reporter say the movie will "offer a modern-day take on Lewis Carroll's classic story", and will be set against the backdrop of a music festival called Wonderland. It will also be a musical.

We can already sense the vibe already - hidden worlds through portaloos, drinking suspicious cocktails, and incredible fancy dress costumes inspired by the Cheshire Cat.

Who will star in Netflix's Alice In Wonderland?

Singer and actress Sabrina Carpenter from Girl Meets World, Tall Girl and Work It will play Alice. She will also produce the movie along with Leslie Morgenstein and Elysa Dutton (who also worked together on Work It.)

The original screenplay will be written by Ross Evans.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Sabrina wrote, "Too excited for this... @netflix at last productions 🌹 We’re going to wonderland!"

So far, the rest of the film's details are under wraps (who else will star? Has production started? When will it come out?), but we'll be adding details as and when they're announced.
