Neighbours releases first trailer for dramatic 35th anniversary week

From Digital Spy

EastEnders isn't the only soap turning 35 you know. Australian soap Neighbours is hitting the big milestone soon and they've got a big dramatic week planned.

They've got 11 returning characters, five weddings, and three deaths, and they've released a new trailer to let you KNOW they've got all this going on, in very dramatic fashion.

Okay, there are actually two trailers, but the only difference is saying 'there's never been a holiday like this!' and another saying 'there's never been a wedding like this!'. Thrilling stuff.

Joking aside, Neighbours' anniversary week does look very exciting. Each of the five regular episodes will feature a wedding, as Chloe Brennan (April Rose Pengilly) comes up with the idea of a wedding expo to save Lassiters.

There will also be five extra episodes airing later in the nights, which will focus on Finn Kelly (Rob Mills), who will turn evil again and put his "ultimate deadly revenge plan" into action. These episodes will be a lot darker and grittier, and will feature the much-hyped deaths.

Who do you think will die? We've narrowed it down to nine people we think it could be, although we don't really want anyone to die, of course.

The 35th anniversary week will begin on Monday, March 16, with the extra episodes airing at 10pm in addition to the regularly scheduled instalments.

Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
