Naomi Campbell has just welcomed her first child
Naomi Campbell has welcomed her first child, a baby girl.
The supermodel, who turns 51 this week, announced the lovely news by posting a picture of her hand cradling her baby daughter's feet on Instagram an hour ago.
She captioned the photo: 'A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, So honoured to have this gentle soul in my life there are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel.'
She added: 'There is no greater love.'
Naomi has given no further details about her new arrival, but her mother Valerie Morris-Campbell was also tagged in the post.
Her 10 million Instagram followers were quick to share their best wishes and congratulations, including fellow models Erin O'Connor and Munroe Bergdorf who both wrote 'Congratulations Naomi!'.
Just last year the supermodel told ES Magazine that she thinks about starting a family 'all the time', adding: 'Now with the way science is I think I can do it when I want'.
