Article updated on 14/06/2022: Following Naomi Campbell's surprise announcement to share the news that she had welcomed a baby girl last year, the model has rarely shared sweet mother-daughter photos to her Instagram feed.

However, her latest post shows her walking hand-in-hand with her daughter in a botanical field.

While she was dressed head-to-toe in black, her daughter wore a vibrant pink and purple co-ord, with a sweet bow in her hair.

Campbell captioned the photo: 'My Love, My heartbeat First Steps walking [sic],' revealing that her daughter had reached a new childhood milestone.

The legendary British supermodel shared a beautiful photo on her Instagram account on Tuesday to show two tiny feet being cradled. In the post, she tagged her own mother, Valerie Morris Campbell.

'A beautiful little blessing has chosen me to be her mother, so honoured to have this gentle soul in my life,' Campbell wrote, confirming the arrival of her daughter.

'There are no words to describe the lifelong bond that I now share with you my angel,' the Super continued. 'There is no greater love.'

This is Campbell's first child. The new mother did not provide any more information about her daughter, including her age or name. But what she shared was enough to thrill her longtime fans, with the post accruing over 161,000 likes in just 30 minutes.

Campbell was also congratulated by fans and famous friends, with actor Zoe Saldana commenting: 'What a blessing'. Munroe Bergdorf shared her congratulations, as did fellow model Erin O'Connor.

In 2018, Campbell spoke to Vogue Arabia about her desire to have children in the future, telling the outlet: 'I’d love to have kids. I don’t discount anything in life. I love kids and always will. When I’m around children, I become a child myself. That’s the little girl I don’t ever want to lose.'
