Myleene Klass reportedly called the police on Friday to claim she had been spat on by an Uber driver.
The 43-year-old radio presenter and TV personality reportedly had a dispute with her Uber driver about where to stop the car as she was being driven to the Global headquarters in central London ahead of her Smooth Radio show, and the driver allegedly spat on her and she left the car in tears.
According to The Sun, the former Hear'Say singer subsequently called the police to file an assault complaint.
"Myleene was shocked that he spat on her," a source told the publication. "She panicked and felt trapped, worried that she wouldn't be able to get out.
"She was really shaken by the incident and wanted to get out of the car as quickly as possible when the driver turned nasty. She was relieved it happened in a public place."
The source added that Myleene "was a trouper" and went ahead to present her two-hour radio show after the incident.
Photographers waiting outside the Global building reportedly asked the I'm a Celeb star if she was OK on Friday, and on Monday morning, she thanked them with a tray of coffees.
"She was grateful that the snappers were there to witness the incident and check she was OK," the source said.
A spokesperson for London's Metropolitan Police confirmed that officers are investigating an assault complaint.
"Police are investigating an allegation of assault," they said. "The complainant, a 43-year-old woman, was allegedly spat at as she left a private hire vehicle. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue."
