It's the dating show where single parents are given a second chance at love, with their adult children watching their every move from a nearby bunker. However, My Mum, Your Dad fans were pleased during Monday (23 September) night's episode when the parents were given the opportunity to disconnect their kids from watching them.

During the show, viewers were introduced to the snug, a room where couples can go for some privacy, which also features a switch they can turn to stop the house's live stream to the kids' bunker. Reacting to the new addition, viewers took to X to share their thoughts, with one writing: "OH THAT'S CHEEKY. So they'll be able to cut off the feed to the bunker!!! Meaning their offspring won't be able to see what's happening in the snug. #MyMumYourDad".

Urging contestants Danny and Jenny, who got to try out the snug and even shared a kiss away from the eyes of their children, to use the switch, one viewer shared: "I wouldn't want to watch my parents having a bit of passion... #cutTheFeed", while another echoed: "HIT THE SWITCH!!! #MyMumYourDad".

Another added: "Given how cringey it is, surely the kids would be pleased not to have to watch their parents snog? #mymumyourdad".

Amongst the cast for season two of the show, which kicked off last week, is Paul Edwards, who appeared in the first ever edition of the show. Paul returned for a second time to the show after failing to find a lasting connection during the first series, accompanied by his daughter Mazey, who announced the exciting news on Instagram before the episode aired.

"Guess who’s back! Here we go for round 2 to see if dad has anymore luck this time around… tune in to find out! See you on screens 9pm tonight! @mymumyourdaduk #mymumyourdad," Mazey excitedly penned alongside promo shots of her and Paul.

Meanwhile, Paul told fans: "WERE BACK. I’m truly honoured and privileged to have shared this experience once again with such beautiful cast members. You all will remain my friends forever Tune in tonight 9pm ITV 1 for our arrival. @mymumyourdaduk @itv @itvxofficial Thank you."

During his first time on My Mum, Your Dad, Paul managed to form a connection with Natalie Russell. Things appeared to be going well for the couple and they stayed together until the end of the series. However, Paul and Natalie struggled to make their romance work in the real world. After the final episode of MMYD aired, the pair announced on social media that they had split up after spending the summer together.
