Mum of 8-year-old influencers hits back at backlash during 'awkward' This Morning chat
A mum named Adrea Garza has responded to backlash about her influencer daughters during an appearance on This Morning.
The trio, who reside in Oklahoma, USA, took to the popular daytime favourite to discuss their recent online fame on sites such as TikTok and Instagram with hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley.
Twins Haven and Koti, eight, share a variety of content on skincare, including Sephora hauls and "get ready with us" segments with profile's achieving over 4.5 million followers.
Taking to the programme to discuss their rise to fame, they appeared alongside their mum-manager Adrea to discuss their surging career and also the backlash they'd faced.
Some fans found the interview to be "uncomfotable" and took to X- formerly Twitter - to share their dismay. One person penned: "Sorry #thismorning - this is a new low. Those poor kids look so uncomfortable," a second agreed: "#thismorning I don't think this is right!"

A third person vented frustration, adding: "#thismorning why would you do that your children advertising them like that so young?" A fourth stated: " #thismorning I don't agree with those sisters from Oklahoma who are social media stars! They are too young."
Further outrage was sparked when Adrea admitted in the interview that she was planning to treat her two girls to a "Starbucks, before school," for getting up at 6am, to appear on This Morning via video link.
During the interview, Ben addressed some of the backlash the family had faced and even read out a statement from a professional dermatologist in the UK, Dr. Emma Edgeworth, who strongly advised against the two young girls having extensive skin care regimes at their age.
Ben stated: "The reality is, that the girls are also influencing other young girls as well. How do you make sure that what they are using is age appropriate?"
Adrea replied: "Absolutely, I totally agree, as our platform started to grow and it really started to become an influence, I wanted to make sure we were educating our audience with what the right things are to use at certain ages. Making sure they are using the correct products"
She defended: "I also consulted with dermatologists and actually interviewed one for our podcast," the mum-of-two corrected: "The girls actually interviewed her for our podcast."
"Our page is really just about self-love and self-care and we try to do our best educate our audience," hit back Adrea
This Morning airs weekdays on ITV1, from 10am.
