We’re nearing the end of spring, and that means it’s officially time for everyone-and-their-mother-is-moving szn. You can also call it The Great Migraine™ because moving is the pits, no matter how excited you are for your new place.

You already know the drill: Purge your stuff and then bring in the boxes, tape, bubble wrap and a dozen Sharpies. But there are a few things that you probably didn’t consider when you started to think about your move that will actually make your life way less stressful. Still a little stressful, of course. Just, less. I mean, things like QR Code labels exist now for $15. Welcome to the future of moving, it’s fun here.

Whether you’re moving out of your college dorm and into your first big kid home or your lease has run out, here are the best moving hacks under $50 you can find on Amazon that are actually useful.

Um, yes, these are labels with actual QR codes that you can scan and manage from a mobile app. The labels come in four color-coded sticker sheets for a seamless packing situation. There's even a search tool.

Unfortunately, buying moving boxes is an expensive — but very necessary — task, so you want to get good ones. And unless you have a place to store them until the next time you move, they're also super wasteful. Luckily, this set of 10 tape-free moving boxes exists. They're super easy to build and break down and have the sturdiest handles you'll ever use.

Obviously, your entire closet cannot fit in all of your suitcases. Foldable duffels are key to remedying this. First, you can truly stuff them to the brim and fit way more than you would expect. Second, they're useful beyond the move and take up basically zero storage space in your new closet.

Oh, you are definitely going to want to have this hydrating face spray while you're packing, moving and unpacking. You'll be a sweaty mess, but at least you'll be refreshed!

While you can buy the special dishware boxes that come with the foam pouches, it's so much cheaper to buy them separately! This set of 60 assorted foam pouches protects your fragile items from kitchenware (obvi) to that one heirloom Christmas ornament you're terrified of breaking.
$18 at Amazon
Your regular trash bags just won't cut it when it comes to moving. These industrial trash bags are great for when you're in the packing zone and tossing everything that does not bring you joy and cannot be donated (read: period-stained underwear). You can also use them as DIY garment bags! Just keep your coats, dresses, etc. on the hangers, stick the hook through the bottom and duct tape it up.

No, this won't actually help you move, but it is a very useful, kind little treat for yourself when all is said and done. We do love treats.
