The mother of all manis
Manicurist Ama Quashie is one of the fashion industry’s favourite nail artists and the Brixton salon she opened in November 2018 is all about ameliorating and enhancing your natural nails. While offering premium traditional manicure and pedicure treatments AMA also has a ‘free from’ menu featuring Kure Bazaar and NCLA that are up to 90% natural, 10-free, vegan and cruelty free. Until March 31, AMA's nail pros are offering signature manicures for two people with prosecco for the mega bargain of £45, and gel manicures (again, with prosecco) for two for £60.
The hydrating mega facial
You’d be hard pressed to find a mother that wouldn’t appreciate a super hydrating, plumping facial. And the high-tech treatments at Waterhouse Young, a beautiful townhouse on a quiet street in Marylebone co-founded by Norman Waterhouse, are hard to beat. Book in for the Mother’s Day Package and you’ll both (simultaneously - they have two machines) receive a Hydrafacial, a multi-step treatment that uses patented technology to cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate the skin with antioxidants & peptides. You mum will then get treated to an extra ‘HydraEyes’ (a HydraFacial which blasts hyaluronic acid-rich Intraceuticals products to the eye area), reducing wrinkles and leaving her peepers looking less crepey and twice as glowy.
