Morrisons offering over 60s full breakfast and refillable hot drink for £5 in all cafés
Morrisons has launched a new initiative in its cafés that will save customers over the age of 60 money on breakfast.
With money still a concern for many age groups, the supermarket has confirmed its new 'OAPension-Friendly Breakfast' that will help its elderly customers to spread the cost of their pension that bit further.
Costing just £5, the breakfast deal will offer customers a slap-up English breakfast complete with a sausage, bacon, fried egg, hash brown, Heinz Baked Beans, toast and butter. They will also get a refillable hot drink on tea, coffee or hot chocolate.

Offering a saving of up to £3, Morrisons' pensioner-friendly breakfast deal was launched in response to feedback from elderly customers who say they would like to make their pensions go that bit further following increased financial pressure.
Available in all cafés now, customers just need to let colleagues know that they are over 60 when purchasing the breakfast deal. According to the supermarket, it comes after 49 percent off the elderly have been cutting back on spending time with friends due to money concerns.
Chris Strong, Senior Café Buying Manager at Morrisons, said: "We know it’s been a cold few months for our loyal senior customers, and with the rising cost of living, we wanted to give something back and help their pensions go a little further.
"We know our cafés can be the heart of local communities and nothing beats a full English breakfast, especially when there are savings to be had. Whether it’s enjoyed solo, or while meeting up with friends or family, our OAPension-Friendly Breakfast hopes to bring a little extra joy in the coming months."
It's not the only money-saving incentive to be offered by Morrisons, as the supermarket announced last week that it had partnered with discount platform Purpl to offer exclusive discounts to its disabled customers who shop online.
Those who are eligible will be provided with a 10 percent discount when they spend £25 or more when they shop online. It will see 16.1 million disabled customers save up to over £45 per month and £550 per year.
The new £5 'OAPension-Friendly Breakfast' is now available in all 406 Morrisons cafés across the UK.
