Morrisons has just announced that it is launching a hot food-to-go service in all 402 of its cafés nationwide.

As part of the opening, customers have the opportunity to choose from a range of takeaway meals for the whole family, including breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner options.

All items on the menu are prepared by hand in Morrisons cafés and packaged in cardboard takeaway boxes.

As well as dinners such as fish and chips, customers can get their hands on bacon or sausage sandwiches.

An afternoon tea for two is also on offer for just £10, or £15 with the addition of Prosecco.

Marianne Jones, Head of Café Operations at Morrisons, said: “Our customers love our cafes. Some dine with us a number of times a week and many have told us they’ve been waiting for their return. So we’ve been working behind the scenes to bring back some of our most popular dishes at great prices as we continue to feed the nation.”

You can order a takeaway by calling Morrisons' national takeaway hotline number: 0330 808 9733. You’ll then be asked to give your postcode, and will be transferred to your store’s café team who will take your order.

Alternatively, customers can visit the cafe when in-store to place their order. All meals will be ready for collection half an hour after the order is placed. Deliveroo is also available in some locations.
