This Morning's Trinny Woodall has revealed that she almost quit the show once when a superior told her she couldn't wear a ring from her own range while on camera.

The presenter, who sometimes hosts the ITV show's fashion segments, recently recalled the time she was informed by This Morning boss Martin Frizell that she was "breaching Ofcom rules" by accessorising her look with a £300 ring from her Trinny London line.

"I always wear this ring cause I always wear big rings," she explained, on a resurfaced episode of the EMMA GUNS podcast.

"After a while I remember the editor said, 'Trinny you can't wear that ring!' I was like 'Why not?'

"He goes, 'Well because it's an ad for your brand.' I go, 'Darling, it's the ring or me. I'm very happy to give up fashion on This Morning, but this is my ring, it's me. I always wear big rings, people can make of it what they will.'"

Elsewhere in the interview, the 56-year-old claimed that some of the famous faces involved with the show would regularly receive special treatment.

However, she remained tight-lipped as to who she was referring to specifically.
