Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are back with season 2 of The Morning Show; the hit Apple TV+ series we were all obsessed with in 2019. Here's what you need to know about the second instalment, from release date to trailer and potential storylines.

When was The Morning Show season 2 announced?

Just one week after its debut, Apple confirmed that The Morning Show would be back for another season, which was meant to air in November 2020. As showrunner Kerry Ehrin said while speaking to Variety in 2019, "We're writing the show now; we'll film it this summer; and we'll be on next November."

Because of you know what, filming was delayed and production was pushed, but the good news is we do now have a release date!

When is The Morning Show season 2 released?

In mid-June 2021, Apple TV+ revealed, The Morning Show "makes its return on Friday, September 17, 2021." They also confirmed there would be 10-episodes dropping every Friday from there, meaning the season finale will be available on the 26th November.

Is there a trailer for The Morning Show season 2 yet?

Certainly is! Watch it above.

What will happen in The Morning Show season 2?

The official synopsis reads:

"Picking up after the explosive events of season one, season two finds the Morning Show team emerging from the wreckage of Alex (Aniston) and Bradley’s (Witherspoon) actions, to a new UBA and a world in flux, where identity is everything and the chasm between who we present as and who we really are comes into play."

Not going to lie, that doesn't *really* tell us anything, but still, we're excited.
