This Morning has announced that an I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star is joining the team.
Later this month (the week starting August 30 to be precise), following the end of Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes' seven week stint, Vernon Kay will be presenting with Rochelle Humes on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
On the Monday and Friday, Rochelle will be hosting alongside the legendary Alison Hammond, while Dermot O'Leary will also be presenting parts of the Friday show from Manchester, where Soccer Aid is happening.
"This Morning is the daytime go to show, so to be asked to guest host on a show I've watched since its inception is a huge tick for me," Vernon said. "I'm really looking forward to working with Rochelle and sitting on that famous sofa."
Rochelle added: "I'm so looking forward to hosting with the wonderful Alison Hammond again. I also can't wait to welcome Vernon Kay into the This Morning family!"
"This week will provide a great mix of talent for our viewers," This Morning's editor Martin Frizell shared. "Vernon is familiar with being a guest on our sofa but I'm sure he'll be just as great hosting the show live for two and a half hours too."
Then Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby will be back to host as normal from Monday, September 6.
According to the press release announcing Family Fortunes and Game of Talents host Vernon joining the team, This Morning is enjoying its "highest share of viewing in 14 years".
This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
