Take That, Katy Perry, Lionel Richie and Andrea Bocelli will each take to the stage at King Charles III's coronation concert on Sunday, May 7.

World-beating figures in their own right – 'Back For Good', 'Teenage Dream', 'Dancing on the Ceiling' and 'Time to Say Goodbye' are just a handful of their musical hits – this quartet's involvement was confirmed ahead of the historical event at Windsor Castle.

An official ambassador of the monarch's charity The British Asian Trust since 2020, Perry said in a statement: "I am excited to be performing at the Coronation Concert, and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust's Children's Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking."

Equally thrilled by the opportunity, Richie went on to comment: "To share the stage with the other performers at the Coronation Concert is a once-in-a-lifetime event and it will be an honour and a celebration."

Regular supporters of The Prince's Trust charity, Take That (now comprised of just Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald following Robbie Williams and Jason Orange's exits) are performing together for the first time since 2019's Odyssey Tour.

"What a stage to come back on!" read their joint statement.

"A huge live band and orchestra, a choir, military drummers, the backdrop of Windsor Castle and the celebration of a new king. We can't wait."

Opera legend Bocelli, who sponsors an annual scholarship at London's Royal College of Music, is scheduled to duet with Sir Bryn Terfel on the day.

"I have had the great honour of singing for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on several occasions," he proudly stated. "It is now another great honour to be asked to perform at the Coronation Concert of King Charles III.

"My joy and excitement is multiplied as I have the chance to duet with my dear friend and superb baritone, Sir Bryn Terfel, performing an iconic song of love and collective solidarity."
