Molly-Mae Hague has hit out at Jake Paul for sharing an alleged DM from her, insisting it's fake. The American YouTuber-turned-boxer posted a series of Instagram Stories aimed at Tommy Fury, after the Love Islander challenged Jake to a boxing match.

Let's start at the beginning. In a video posted by two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury's Instagram, his brother Tommy challenged Jake to a fight in the ring. The caption read, "@jakepaul it’s time to step up and fight a REAL boxer, @tommyfury! Let’s see if you're the real deal mushy. #DontGetScaredNow #GotchaBalls #NoCap 🧢"

Jake then took to his own Instagram account to post a series of Stories hitting back at the video, saying, "The desperation is seeping through the pores of the Fury family. It's quite embarrassing. The heavyweight champion of the world is on Instagram talking about Jake Paul, begging me to fight his brother."

The YouTuber later hit out at Tommy by sharing an alleged DM from Molly-Mae which read, "Might be coming to America later this year and have always been a fan of your videos. Maybe you can show me around?!" The time stamp is from October 2018.

Molly-Mae has since taken to Twitter to insist the direct message is absolutely fake, and Jake had made it on Photoshop.

"Times must be hard when you’re having to fake a DM.... Photoshop is scary," she wrote on Twitter.

Fans have also pointed out that the white heart emoji didn't come out until 2019 - after the timestamp on the alleged DM - while others have been questioning why the DM doesn't include details about mutual follows (which we can assume there would be.)

This isn't the first time Tommy and Jake have gone for each other on social media - back in April, the Love Island contestant shared a tweet which read "I'm ready to give the people what they want @jakepaul."

Could a boxing fight be on the cards? Eek.
