Molly-Mae Hague determined to be 'amicable' with ex Tommy Fury as she's set to 'make millions'

These have been turbulent times for former Love Island star turned entrepreneur Molly-Mae Hague. In a short period of time she’s gone from being half of one of the most popular reality star couples ever, to navigating a whole new life she never imagined as a single mum – all while nursing the hurt of a painful break-up from the man she thought she’d marry. Molly-Mae announced her split from former fiancé Tommy Fury in August, saying, “I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way,” shocking the couple’s millions of fans.

And the past few weeks – with unfounded rumours of reconciliations and other women taking up headlines – can’t have been easy for the influencer, who has a one-year-old daughter, Bambi, with boxer Tommy, 25. But a source has told new that the star – who recently announced the launch of an exciting new business venture into women’s clothing – is doing her best to look to the future. Though she is still deeply sad at how things have worked out, she is determined to remain amicable with Tommy, for the sake of Bambi.

“It’s been a tough few months for Molly-Mae, and while she is still hurt and upset by the split, she is doing her best to move on,” claimed our source.

Molly-Mae proudly launched her new womenswear brand, Maebe, on 8 September (swiftly racking up more than 400k followers in a matter of hours after the announcement), and the 25-year-old could be set for the kind of success that even she has never imagined to date.

“Launching her new label is something she’s been working on for years, and she was nervous about announcing it because there
has been so much publicity surrounding her relationship – Molly has been completely overwhelmed by the reaction to the split,” the source said.

Everything Molly touches seems to turn to gold, and her exciting new clothing line could well herald the beginning of a hugely successful new career. Glimpses of her debut collection were revealed on Molly-Mae’s social media last week, and it
will be officially unveiled at the end of this month.

“It’s not even available to buy yet but Molly’s already predicted to make millions from the brand, and this is just the start of more ventures to come,” they added.

Aside from nurturing her career, Molly’s main focus, the source continued, is her daughter Bambi, and being the best role model possible for her.

A big part of that will, no doubt, be making sure that her relations with Tommy, who was rumoured to have cheated on Molly before their split, are in no way toxic. Tommy has denied the allegations.

In a vlog Molly released at the beginning of the month, she shared with her followers that 20-month-old Bambi can “sense” she and Tommy have split. No doubt Molly will be wanting to make that transition for Bambi as painless as she possibly can.

“Molly is always going to have a relationship with Tommy because he’s Bambi’s dad, and he’s a good dad. She is determined for them to remain amicable for their daughter’s sake,” the source claimed.

“It does make her sad that they couldn’t stay together, but she had to do what she felt is right, so that there are no regrets in the long-term. It will be the best decision, even though she’s hurting right now.”

It would seem the now-single star is not short of male attention either, as our source maintains she has already had “lots of messages and comments from men on her socials”.

But despite potential suitors, Molly does not appear to be remotely in the mindset for romance right now.

The source claimed, “Men are the last thing on her mind at the moment. She can’t even think about dating, but it’s nice for her to know that there are men out there.

“But she has so much to concentrate on at the moment and is being kept very busy. Her new womenswear collection
is a big step up for her after her PrettyLittleThing range and it feels like it’s the start of a new mature and grown-up Molly-Mae.”

Certainly, the events of recent weeks will have been a shock to her.

Last week, it was reported that Tommy, who is the brother of boxer Tyson Fury, had given what could be seen as a clear indication that there’s no way back for the former lovebirds – by setting up his own media firm, Tommy Fury Media Ltd.

But rather than retreat from the world, remaining “devastated” and “bedridden” as she was said to be initially following the break-up, it sounds like Molly is equally ready to mark the start of a new chapter – and is bouncing back from heartbreak in the most positive way possible.

The star, whose popularity only seems to have grown since the painful split, clearly has big plans for the future, with her little girl by her side.
