The world of fashion doesn’t normally get too involved in politics (apart from the likes of Vivienne Westwood). But the EU referendum has spurred numerous influential figures to speak up and voice their thoughts.
Last week, the British Fashion Council announced findings from a survey of UK designer businesses about whether the fashion industry wants to stay or quit the EU and out of the 290 respondents, an overwhelming 90% stated their preference to Remain, while just 4.3% voted to Leave, 2.4% were Undecided and 2.8% stated that they would Not Vote.
Clearly, the fashion industry’s seriously vying for Britain to remain in the EU after tomorrow’s vote - just look at all these models, fashion designers and brands who are campaigning for their social medias to follow their lead…
