Miley Cyrus's mullet has become a bowl cut and I'm here for it

It's the most wonderful time of the year: the Super Bowl Sunday aftermath, of course.

And, as we're all locked in our living rooms right now, what better opportunity to discuss, at length, the transformation of Miley Cyrus's hair from mullet to bowl cut?

If you don't follow Miley's hair as closely as I (you'd be forgiven), there are a few things to catch up on. Miley's been hinting at the prospect of a hair switch-up for a while now, after sticking to her mullet solidly since the summer.

First there was the bedtime selfie, for which she tied her hair into a topknot. Then there was her zero makeup bath selfie, with her hair slicked back and out of the shot (who can blame her? I've heard mullets and shag cuts are far more high-maintenance than you'd think...).

So, as much as Miley's mullet is beloved to us all, it was looking as if change was afoot. However, I'm pleased to announce today, on this après-Super Bowl Monday, that we needn't worry yet. No need to panic. Her rebellious hair brilliance is here to stay - she's just taken it a step further (as if that's even possible).

At the Super Bowl performance, Miley's fringe had filled out, from a shaggy, barely-there vibes to full, blocky, mid-forehead-length bangs. What's more, much of the wispiness that defined her look as a 'mullet' had disappeared, with her fringe feeding diagonally across her face into the back-lengths of her hair.

...Long story short, what we're working with now is more bowl cut than mullet. Take a look for yourself.

A super bowl-cut for a Super Bowl Sunday. Apt.
