Miley Cyrus just joked that her marriage to Liam Hemsworth 'didn't last long'

From Cosmopolitan

Miley Cyrus is back at it again making jokes about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth, this time poking fun at the fact their marriage "didn't last long".

If there's one celebrity breakup we didn't see coming this year, it was Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus. Namely because their 10-year relationship made us believe in love again, but also because they had only tied the knot in December 2018.

But sadly it wasn't to be, with Miley's rep announcing their split with a statement (via People) which read:

"Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers. They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy."

Since then, both Liam and Miley have been linked to other people - with Miley going public with her relationship with Kaitlynn Carter in the summer, before settling down with Cody Simpson. Liam meanwhile, was first linked to actress Maddison Brown, and most recently, model Gabriella Brooks.

And it looks like Miley can now look back on their 8-month marriage in a light-hearted way, after joking about the fact it "didn't last long" on Instagram.

In a new post, LA-based artist Matty Mo, who is known as @TheMostFamousArtist on Instagram, shared a post about how he wanted to marry Miley Cyrus in 2020. "Upping my manifestation game for 2020 and putting this out there — @mileycyrus," he wrote in the caption of a post which read, "Getting married to @mileycyrus in 2020."

Miley commented on the post, "It probably won’t last long . 💍 But always down to try, You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take."

Many are speculating that this is an obvious dig at her marriage to Liam, but hey, at least Miley feels in a position to joke about it. Right?
