The former England rugby player was voted off the show during the penultimate episode on Saturday night. Coming fourth behind MP Matt Hancock, Hollyoak's Owen Warner and Lioness Jill Scott, who was crowned the winner, the father of three was greeted by his wife and looked delighted. As the pair hugged on the iconic bridge, Mike sweetly said to her: "I missed you so much."
Taking advantage of being in beautiful Australia, the couple have been enjoying time together. Mike took to Instagram to thank his fans for all of the support during the show and post a sweet picture with Zara at a cafe. He captioned the selfie: "Reunited!!! Back to normality and time to eat!!! Thanks for all the kind messages! It was a blast! #imaceleb #familytime."
Mike then posted a range of delicious looking plates of food that the pair enjoyed including a burger.
During his exit interview with Ant and Dec, Mike reflected on his time as camp leader. "I'm sort of that type of person who wants to be there for people and help," he said.
"Coming in I wasn't worried about the stay, or the food I'd got myself into that place. My experience was going to be what happened in camp and the trials, because I knew that Mia would want me to do trials with creepy crawlies – that's just how she likes it."
Mike and Zara, who is the daughter of Anne, Princess Royal, have been married since 2011 and share three children together: daughters, Mia and Lena and, son, Lucas.
