Micky Dolenz, Monkees drummer, sues FBI

CNN reports that the band's last surviving member has sued the government agency over records it may have involving members of the Monkees. According to the complaint, the FBI investigated the band in 1967 for alleged anti-war activities. "References to the band appear in two places in FBI files: a 1967 Los Angeles Field Office memorandum on anti-Vietnam war activities and a second document redacted entirely." Via the FBI's website. Although part of the FBI's case file on the band was publicly released over 10 years ago, Dolenz now wants to see the whole thing.
