Michelle Yeoh dazzles in shimmering outfit change for Oscars afterparty
Michelle Yeoh looked stunning in a high glamour outfit change to attend an Oscars afterparty on Sunday (12 March).
The star won the Academy Award for Best Actress, for her leading performance in Everything Everywhere All At Once. After the main ceremony, Michelle changed into a new look to head to the star-studded Vanity Fair afterparty, which took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, California.
Her strapless, floor-length silver gown was covered in mirror-like sequins, complimenting her diamond jewellery accessories for the ultimate Hollywood look. The dress also featured a sheer, V cut out and bold black statement flower in the centre.
For the main Oscars ceremony, Michelle wore a heavenly white dress by Dior Haute Couture, featuring a full, multi-layered skirt with fringe detailing and beading.
The gown also finished in a slight train for a truly spell-binding overall look, in contrast to her more modern, sparkling party dress chosen for later in the evening.
In an interview from the Vanity Fair party with the BBC's Today Programme on Radio 4, Michelle said her historic win "means the world to me and to so many people who look like me."
While in conversation about being the first woman from an Asian background to win the Oscar for Best Actress, she added, "I hope that I'm not the last, this is just the beginning."
Everything Everywhere All At Once took home a sweep of awards, including Best Supporting Actress which went to Michelle's co-star, Jamie Lee Curtis.
