Did you know that Michelle Obama was a big fan of gardening when she was America's First Lady?

Rumour has it that the attorney, who is now a best-selling author, too, was big into gardening as an initiative when she herself was FLOTUS (First Lady of the United States).

That's why her most recent delivery from the new First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, is so heartwarming.

Posting a photo on Instagram to her 45.1m Instagram followers, Michelle shared a beautiful basket filled to the brim with fresh vegetables, including kale, broccoli, spring greens, Cavelo Nero, and more.

In the caption, she explained that the produce was a kind gift from Dr Jill in her first few weeks as the First Lady, and that all of the vegetables are from the White House Kitchen Garden, where she once lived.

Captioning the photo, she shared: "So thankful for this beautiful care package from our amazing @FLOTUS! These fresh veggies from the White House Kitchen Garden were such a wonderful — and delicious — surprise. Love you, Jill!".

Replying to the post, the First Lady of the United States and wife of president Joe Biden responded: "Food is love. 💚"

This comes the same week as it's announced that Michelle is releasing her best-selling book, Becoming, as a children's edition, too.
