Michelle Keegan unveils ‘cinder toffee brunette’ hair transformation - and it’s perfect for autumn
Whether she’s appearing on our screens in the latest drama or hitting the red carpet with her husband Mark Wright, Michelle Keegan never fails to give us serious hair envy. From her dramatic wispy fringe to her glossy ‘Bambi brown’ colour, the former Coronation Street icon’s hair is nothing short of flawless - and her latest look is no different.
In a post shared to her Instagram story on Monday, 16 September, the 37 year old showed off her latest transformation and it’s already giving us hair goals. In the snap, Michelle looked sensational as she showed off her new ‘cinder toffee brunette’ which were styled in loose waves and featured subtle sun-kissed highlights throughout to give lots of depth and warmth.
To finish off the lock, the Our Girl star kept things classic as she paired an oversized black blazer with a fitted white top and blue jeans. For accessories, Michelle opted for a pair of chic cateye sunglasses.

In a second snap, Michelle gave another glimpse at her soft brown hair and allowed fans to get a better look at the incredible transformation. In the mirror selfie, Michelle beamed from ear to ear as she showed off her fawn locks having got her make-up done.
Coined by professional hair stylist, Tom Smith, ‘cinder toffee brunette’ is set to be a big hair trend this autumn winter. The warm look mixes dark brown tones with hints of caramel and gold to create a rich yet natural brunette shade that still has plenty of depth.
Michelle’s new look comes after she was left a little red-faced at the National Television Awards on Wednesday, 11 September when her Brassic co-star Ryan Sampson gave a cheeky flash to the camera, leaving her flustered.
As nominations were being read out, the camera panned to the Brassic crew and in response 38 year old Ryan revealed his nipple to the nation as Michelle sat in front of him. Unaware of what was happening, Michelle smiled, though was left surprised when she looked behind her to discover her co-star’s antics.
At this year’s NTAs, Michelle was nominated for the Drama Performance award for her role as Maya Stern in Fool Me Once. However, she sadly missed out on taking home the trophy and the gong was awarded to Toby Jones who starred as Sir Alan Bates in Mr Bates vs the Post Office.
Elsewhere on the night, shows including Sort Your Life Out, Strictly Come Dancing, Emmerdale, Bridgerton and I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here all won awards. David Attenborough also delighted fans as he secured an NTA for his work on the documentary Mammals.
