Michelle Keegan gets 'goosebumps' as she adds special feature to her £3.5m Essex mansion
Actress Michelle Keegan gushed she got "goosebumps" as she unveiled her "personal" new art piece at the opulent £3.5 million mansion she shares with hubby Mark Wright. The ex-Coronation Street favourite, who turned 37 in June, teamed up with former reality star Mark and a squad of master architects and construction wizards to bring their ideal Essex dream to life.
In August last year, the couple threw a huge party to mark the end of their mega home makeover, which now includes an uber-glam pool screaming Ibiza vibes. And now, Michelle has unveiled a special addition to the home, which she said gave her "goosebumps", as she thanked artist David Howarth for creating the poignant artwork.
The new art work features the words: "There's a place in my heart that will never belong to anyone but you...", possibly in reference to her marriage to Mark.

"@davohowarth has done it again...honestly I get goosebumps every time I look at it. A personal piece of art that I will cherish forever (just like the one he designed for my hallway not long ago)," she wrote in the caption.
The Brassic lead proudly displayed the bespoke piece in their spacious and bright kitchen, which boasts breathtaking views of the Essex countryside. In a chat with The Observer last year, Michelle opened up about the emotional moment she returned to their newly finished labour of love after filming the BBC drama Ten Pound Poms in Australia.
"I was filming in Australia and hadn't seen the house for months. And when I walked in, Mark had lit all the candles and... I couldn't speak for five minutes. He was like, 'What do you think? ' I couldn't find the words to say how I felt, because I was so overwhelmed. I just burst out crying. It still gets me emotional. Because we've worked really hard for it. We've had to make a lot of sacrifices," Michelle shared.
She also touched on the personal costs of her demanding career, revealing that she has "missed lots of milestones in my life" and acknowledged the strain it can put on a relationship. "But, it's worth it. And the house it's also about security. Because you never know when all this is going to end," she said.

The home boasts five bedrooms, a bespoke kitchen, and even an at-home gym, bar, cinema room and sauna. Michelle and Mark have also opted for his-and-hers bathrooms, and the Sky Sports pundit revealed that it was his wife's idea to bring a touch of Ibiza to their back garden with a pool.
"It was Michelle's idea to have white tiles like Majorca and Ibiza," he confessed to The Sun. "I was like 'well the water's not going to look blue'. She was like 'course it will', definitely right."
The former reality star also shared that his favourite spot in the plush mansion wasn't any of the carefully designed bedrooms, the five-a-side football pitch or the kitchen. "I love that I've got a gym at home, that's a nice feeling," he admitted.
"But I like it all. I like the balance, I like the bar as well! ".
