Hot on the heels of being crowned People's Sexiest Man Alive, Michael B. Jordan is making a pretty unexpected career move: He’s joining OnlyFans. Well, his mustache is. Allow us to explain.
In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jordan shared that he’s developed a new relationship with his famous facial hair in quarantine, giving his ‘stache both a new name and a nickname. Capitalizing on the internet-wide love of his most famous feature, he’s going to give fans exclusive content on the subscription-based social media platform, with proceeds going to help hair stylists that have been impacted financially by COVID-19.
“I never had time to actually sit in one place and grow my facial hair where I didn’t have to get it groomed, or manicured, or anything like that. So, during quarantine, I just wanted to see how much hair I could actually grow,” Jordan told Kimmel, adding, “His name is Murphy. We call him Murph for short. Got an OnlyFans coming soon—eating fruit, all types of crazy stuff, it’s going to get wild.”
Jordan clarified that he’s not joking, and is truly planning on setting up an account to help benefit barbers and stylists that have suffered financial hardship during the pandemic.
“I’m actually going to start [an OnlyFans account],” he shared, “but like all the proceeds I want to go towards a barber school because during the quarantine, you know, there’s been so many businesses and schools that shut down.”
