From Melissa Joan Hart to Amanda Bynes! You'll never believe what these 90s Nickelodeon stars look like NOW!

The 90s was without a doubt a fantastic decade which provided us with some unforgettable music, movies and TV shows. Many of the best shows of the 90s were broadcast by Nickelodeon keeping us quiet in front of our TV screens for hours on end. It's now been over 20 years since the 90s drew to a close and you can't help think what do those Nickelodeon stars look like NOW?

Mariah Carey’s ex rose to fame due to his appearance on comedy sketch show ‘All That’, from 1998 to 2000 for a total of 33 episodes. Nick has not stopped ever since! He has been part of dozens of big and small screen projects, including ‘The Nick Cannon Show’, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’, ‘School Dance’ and most recently, ‘The Masked Singer’.

One of Nickelodeon’s most popular shows is the one where a series of young teenagers who tell horror stories while visiting a secret location in the woods at night. ‘Are You Afraid of the Dark?’ showed us actress Joanna Garcia in the role of Sam, from 1994 to 1996. Following her Nickelodeon career, the TV star landed some major small screen projects including ‘Reba’, ‘Privileged’ and ‘Better With You’, taking over the main role in all of them. From 2020 she has been playing the main role too in the series ‘Sweet Magnolias’!

‘Kenan and Kel’ is also a fan-favorite Nickelodeon show, revolving around the adventures of two Chicago-based friends. Kenan Thompson played one of them! Since 2003 her has been a regular ‘Saturday Night Live’ cast member, not to mention he has his own show called ‘Kenan’. He is currently working on a new episode of ‘The Kids in the Hall’, expected to premiere in a couple months.

Kenan’s long-time friend, played by Kel Mitchell, has also gained quite success in Hollywood after his work on the Nickelodeon show. Kel appeared in multiple of the channel’s series, including ‘All That’ and Sister, Sister’. Since 2020 he has been hosting the sketch comedy show ‘Deliciousness’ and appeared in celebrity chef Guy Fieri’s reality-based cooking television game show, ‘Guy’s Grocery Games’.

Speaking of ‘Sister, Sister’, our list would be incomplete without our favorite twins, sisters Tia and Tamera Mowry. They kept us in front of the screen for a total of six seasons, telling us the story of two identical twins who were separated at birth. Since 2019, Tia has been playing the main role in the TV series ‘Family Reunion’, while one of Tamera’s most recent TV appearance was as a contestant on ‘The Masked Singer' in 2021.

You probably remember Mike for being the action sports competition series ‘Nickelodeon Guts’ host, but his fantastic on-screen career includes WAY MORE projects. O’Malley is also known for his role as Burt Hummel in ‘Glee’, which earned him an Emmy nomination. However, you are probably also familiar with him for his current projects, ‘Snowpiercer’ and ‘Heels’, or for being one of the writers or the series ‘Shameless’.

Angelique Bates is another main cast member of Nickelodeon’s super famous show ‘All That’. The Californian actress-and-rapper appeared in some other projects after her Nick career, as for instance the 2011 movie ’35 and Ticking’ and the 2018 web miniseries ‘Bonnet Chronicles’.

From 1996 to 2000 Amanda appeared in ‘All That’ as well, landing her own TV series called ‘The Amanda Show’ from 1999 to 2002. As if these credits were not enough already, Bynes also starred in the series ‘What I Like About You’, as well as in the film ‘What A Girl Wants’. However, she has been keeping herself away from the spotlight for about ten years, and has been struggling with substance abuse issues.

One of our favorite Nickelodeon stars of all time is Melissa Joan Hart, who rose to fame for her role as Clarissa in Nick’s series ‘Clarissa Explains It All’. The actress has kept herself quite busy since her appearance in the series (1991-1994), taking over amazing projects as ‘Sabrina the Teenage Witch’, ‘Melissa & Joey’ and ‘The Goldbergs’, among many others. Since 2019, she has been voicing Becca in Nickelodeon’s animated series ‘The Casagrandes’.

Can you recognize the guy in the picture? Well, it’s Steve Burns, the original host of the pre-school TV show ‘Blue’s Clues’. From 1996 to 2002 Steve joined Blue, a female puppy who communicated with him to solve everyday issues. Following the end of the series, Burns had some on-screen credits here and there, being one of the most recent ones a ‘Young Sheldon’ episode.
