The first lady kicked off her trip to Europe by boarding Air Force One in Christian Louboutin PVC So Kate heels with the word “Paris” stamped all over them. By the time she and President Trump touched down in Belgium for the first leg of their journey, she’d moved on to the best in British fashion: Burberry.
Arriving in Brussels, where Trump will be attending the NATO summit before heading to the U.K., FLOTUS was seen covering up in a classic Burberry trench coat. Burberry’s Kensington Long style, which costs $1,995, features black military-style buttons and is lined with the brand’s iconic check print.
Though the coat obscured the navy dress — reportedly from Calvin Klein — worn underneath, the first lady’s black Louboutins were on full display as she disembarked.
Burberry should help the Slovenian-born Trump fit right in as she and the president make plans to visit London later in the week. It has been confirmed that Queen Elizabeth II will host the couple for a military parade and tea at Windsor Castle on Friday.
