Melania Trump to meet the Queen for first time
Melania Trump will reportedly meet Queen Elizabeth II for the first time when she accompanies her husband on a trip to the UK next month.
According to sources, the First Lady will meet Her Majesty at Windsor Castle where the 92-year-old spends most of the summer months.
However, an audience will not be required. The couple's upcoming one-day trip, on 13 July, is not a state visit but a 24-hour "working trip".
FANTASTIC news that President @realdonaldtrump will at last come to Britain on 13 July. Looking forward to seeing our closest ally and friend on the GREATest visit ever. 👌🇬🇧🇺🇸

The First Lady and US President are rumoured to be staying at Winfield House at Regent's Park where they will be greeted by a presentation from the Coldstream Guards regiment.
Trump will also meet with Prime Minister Theresa May on his debut trip to the UK.
But the visit will not be the first time Melania has shaken hands with members of the British royal family. Back in 2017, she met with Prince Harry during the Invictus Games in Toronto.
The upcoming trip is believed to be Melania's first overseas engagement in recent months. The First Lady has been noticeably absent from her husband's presidential duties, as a consequence to a kidney operation back in May.
She did not travel to Singapore for Trump's meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un or to Canada for the G7 summit earlier this month.
