Melania Trump is known for her lavish wardrobe, especially while attending the annual G7 summit.
In 2017, the First Lady hit headlines for wearing a $51,000 floral-adorned coat by Dolce & Gabbana at the event, at which leaders from seven of the world’s most powerful democracies come together.
So all eyes were on the 49-year-old’s designer wardrobe as she touched down in Nouvelle-Aquitaine in France for the 45th event with her husband, US President Donald Trump.
The Melania’s wardrobe did not disappoint as she pulled out all the sartorial stops with designer dresses, an array of red-soled Christian Louboutins and luxury handbags.
The Chanel travel ensemble
Leaving the White House on August 23, Melania cut a chic figure in a minimal, monochrome ensemble by Chanel.
Possibly paying homage to France, the country hosting 2019’s summit, Melania chose to wear a black and white tweed jacket by the French fashion house, as well as white skinny jeans by J Brand.
The outfit was also accessorised with a classic white Chanel handbag and Ballala pointed toe ballet flats by Christian Louboutin.
Touched down in Calvin Klein tie-dye
Melania arrived in Biarritz in France wearing a statement and summer-ready bright yellow dress by Calvin Klein, which featured a trendy tie-dye pattern. The dress, which cost $530, has now sold out.
She paired the bold number with a pair of patent hot pink heels by Louboutin.
Dazzled in Gucci for first dinner
The couple joined French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte on the first night.
Melania wore a pleated $3,800 midi dress by Gucci, which featured a crystal chain belt and was accessorised with metallic Louboutin stilettos.
The chic Calvin Klein day outfit
On the second day, Melania joined the other First Ladies for a tour of traditional Basque culture.
Melania, as usual, pulled out the sartorial stops, opting for a crisp all-white ensemble made up of a Calvin Klein belted midi dress, white Louboutin pumps and a rare white Hermes bag.
The Alexander McQueen evening dress
For the second evening, Melania stood out in a striking red dress with draped detail by Alexander McQueen.
The £1,906 dress is still available to purchase and was paired with matching red So Kate pumps by Louboutin.
The departing Alaïa dress
For the final day, Melania opted for a scalloped jacquard-knit midi dress by Alaïa.
The dress, which featured a flattering fit-and-flare silhouette, a signature of the late designer, is available to purchase on Net-A-Porter for £2,880.
Once again, Melania paired the frock with a pair of her signature Louboutin’s, this time in a classic white shade.
