Yesterday was the end of an era for Donald and Melania Trump, as they left the White House - where they had lived as part of their roles of President and First Lady for four years - for the final time. Taking their places are President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr Jill Biden, after a long and unnecessarily drawn out election last November.

There are lot of memorable moments from the Trumps' term in the White House - many of them not for great reasons (see: two impeachments, awkward leaked phone calls and those meltdowns about unproven voter fraud). One other slightly less-than-favourable memory is the series of videos that have emerged over the past four years in which Melania Trump seemingly repeatedly snubs her husband.

And in a final 'one for the road', another video of Melania looking like she blanks Donald Trump is doing the rounds on Twitter. The footage, broadcast on US TV, shows the couple arriving in Florida yesterday after departing Washington DC. As the couple emerge from the steps of the Marine One helicopter, Mr Trump touches his wife on the lower back just before he stops and waves at the cameras.

But Melania Trump, evidently with her own agenda, ignores the cue to pause and continues walking off. Eeek. As one Instagram Story video that's made its way onto Twitter pointed out, the energy gives off real 'CBA with this shit' vibes, whether that was Melania's intention or not.

Users on Twitter had plenty of fun imagining the inner monologue Melania was having at the time. "I'll be in the car." wrote one person. "I'm so over this," suggested another. One person pointed out that her dress "screams, 'I’m on vacation, bitchez!''

To be fair, if that was the mood Melania Trump was in yesterday, you could hardly blame her. It wasn't her choice to assume one of the most public-facing roles in existence, and it's all been pretty... fiery lately. I'd want a holiday after that.

But now it's all over, and the Trumps are now expected to settle at their Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, It's unlikely we'll see a whole lot of them perhaps until Donald's senate impeachment trial rolls around in the coming months.

As Joe Biden put it yesterday: "It’s a new day in America."
