The Duchess of Sussex has a close relationship with her mother Doria Ragland and before she became a royal, she regularly wrote about her childhood on her blog.

Meghan shared fashion and beauty tips, recipes and travel advice on her former website The Tig, but she also revealed snippets of information about her personal life.

According to The Express, in a post dated August 6, 2016, she marked her birthday with a Q&A about herself, in a section usually reserved for interviewing other celebrities.

She wrote: “My team and I thought it may be fun to turn the tables on me and have yours truly answer the very Tig Talk I crafted when I first started this site.”

Meghan revealed in the post that she had several nicknames, including Meg, MM and M+M and that her mother Doria has called her Flower since she was little.

The sweet blog post was penned shortly before her relationship with Prince Harry was revealed.

The couple made their public debut at the Invictus Games in Toronto in September 2017 and announced their engagement in November.

The pair tied the knot on May 19, 2018 and are now awaiting the arrival of their first child this spring.

Meghan’s mother Doria was the only member of her family to have attended the royal wedding. She accompanied the bride in the car on the way to St George’s Chapel in Windsor.
