Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have had quite a presence at the 2023 Invictus Games in Düsseldorf, Germany this week. On Friday — which also happens to be the Duke of Sussex's 39th birthday — the pair attended multiple sporting events, resulting in a series of outfit changes for the Duchess of Sussex.

For the Invictus Games volleyball finals, she donned a denim color-blocked shirtdress by Carolina Herrera with a matching tie belt. (It's currently on sale, for any Marke-minded shoppers.) Markle completed the look by sweeping her hair up and adding a pair of pointy black pumps.
