Meghan Markle Just Wore the Most 'Wow' Farewell Outfit

It's certainly been a busy few days for the royal family. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge only just returned from their visit to Ireland, while the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have been out and about completing their final official duties before taking a step back as senior royals. Today, however, was a historic occasion as both couples attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, which will be Meghan and Harry's last event as working members of the royal family.

For the occasion, both Meghan and Kate opted for bright cheerful hues with the Duchess of Cambridge in a red Catherine Walker coat dress and the Duchess of Sussex opting for an emerald green cape dress by Emilia Wickstead.

Interestingly enough, in keeping with her affinity for outfit repeating, Kate's double-breasted red coat is actually an item we've seen before. Middleton first wore the velvet-trimmed look back in 2018, to a Christmas Day church service at St Mary Magdalene on the Sandringham estate.

By way of accessories, both Meghan and Kate wore vibrant fascinators which coordinated with the colour of their dresses and Meghan also carried a structured top-handle bag by sustainable designer Gabriela Hearst.
