Meghan Markle shared the the "unladylike" bad habits she wants to stop
Meghan Markle may look like the polished picture of perfection every time she leaves the house, but rest assured: she's not perfect. She's got some of the same bad habits as you.
Just to remind us all that the one-time 'commoner' Meghan is still a little bit relatable, the Telegraph dug through the Duchess of Sussex's old lifestyle website, The Tig, and found a whole host of behaviours Meghan said she consistently tries - and fails - to kick.
As the new year of 2016 rolled in, with Meghan not yet knowing that would be the year her whole life would change, the former Suits actress published a list of resolutions she was determined to crack.
"Run a marathon. Stop biting my nails. Stop swearing. Re-learn French," the now-duchess wrote.
"These make my New Year’s resolution list nearly (AKA actually every) single year. The marathon hasn’t happened. The swearing comes in lulls triggered by being overworked or feeling mighty cheeky after a couple drinks.
"It still happens with a turbulent flight or a stressful day. It’s unladylike. But then again, so is the swearing. Dammit," she added.
Well who'd have thought? Meghan,"unladylike"!
Her post is pretty revelatory, because until now, I couldn't have imagined Meghan dropping the F-bomb around Kensington Palace. But who knows? Maybe even she lets her mouth run away with her sometimes, like when she burns her dinner or the wifi won't work. She's basically one of us.
As for the nail-biting, it looks like Meghan is still struggling with that, too - or maybe she just has to keep her nails short to look neat and tidy now she's a proper royal.
Don't be too hard on yourself, Meg. Who wants to be perfect anyway?
