ICYMI, this week the Duchess of Sussex joined her husband, Prince Harry, at the UN General Assembly in New York where he was giving a speech to honour Nelson Mandela. During the event, the Duke referenced the sweet moment he knew Meghan was his 'soulmate'.
He also opened up about how he had coped in the years following his mother's tragic passing in 1997, revealing he often felt her presence whenever he visited Africa. And his mother's presence must have been there with him that day, as Meghan's thoughtful action for a fellow woman in the crowd touched the hearts of many royal fans.
In a clip shared on social media, the Duke and Duchess can be seen listening to one of the key-note speeches at the event. Suddenly, a woman in the row behind the couple starts coughing and, without hesitation, Meghan offers her a bottle of water.
'To offer your bottle of water to another woman who is coughing tells me more of Duchess Meghan's character, than any hit piece book written about her, [sic]' one royal fan tweeted alongside a video of the thoughtful moment in question. 'Meghan giving water to the lady coughing [sic]', another fan wrote next to a heart emoji as someone else branded the move 'an act of human kindness [sic]'.

Earlier this week, Meghan and Harry arrived in New York and engaged in a rare spot of PDA while doing so. As the couple – who in May celebrated their four year wedding anniversary – were photographed holding hands, they looked just as in love as the day they said 'I Do', proving that their royal romance really is the stuff of fairytales.
